TAROT CARDS

What is Tarot? Tarot cards consist of a pack of 78 cards and each card has different symbolic meanings. The standard deck has what are called 22 major arcana ( or trump ) cards and 4 suits of 14 cards called the minor arcana.
Tarot is often used as a tool for understanding or practical problem solving issues or questions that someone may have in general terms in life and an experienced Tarot card Reader can piece together a general outline and story of the questions that are asked of them.
Although many Psychic readers also use the tarot in their readings you do not in fact have to have a Psychic gift to be able to learn this method of Divination although it can take years of practice to really understand and get to know your pack and how it reads. Historical evidence suggests that Tarot came from the Courts of Northern Italy around the 15th century although others take the claim of this from the Ancient Egyptians.

There are many many different packs and choices of Tarot cards available on the
market and I have listed some of these in my Psychic Shop and although I personally recommend the Ryder - Waite packs there are also many other good and easy to understand packs available.
The internet has some amazing and interesting articles about Tarot too and can
even give you step by step instructions on how to start practising using them to
do readings but as a Tarot reader I know you can never or should never try to do
a reading on yourself as it does not normally work and you may see what you want
to see rather than what the cards are telling you. x
